Members of the UK Parliament are visiting Azerbaijan
A delegation comprising the members of the UK Parliament’s House of Lords and House of Commons are visiting Azerbaijan. The group is headed by Mr. Bob Blackman MP, member of the House of Commons and Chair of All Party Parliamentary Group on Azerbaijan. The delegation is accompanied by Mr. Elin Suleymanov, Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to the UK.
On the first day of their visit, they have been received by President of Azerbaijan. They also visited liberated Shusha and Fuzuli cities.
On the second day of the trip, they have met the speaker of Azerbaijani Parliament, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova and held a press conference where they discussed the UK-Azerbaijan relations, their trip to liberated territories, new regional opportunities in the aftermath of last year’s 44-days Patriotic War.
The trip will continue until November 13, 2021.
