Action commemorating the 31st anniversary of the Khojaly genocide was held in front of the British Parliament

An action dedicated to the 31st anniversary of the Khojaly genocide was held in front of the British Parliament, APA's Britain bureau reports.

Members of the Azerbaijani diaspora and Azerbaijani students attended the action organized by the Coordination Council of Azerbaijanis in the United Kingdom.

The participants held placards with information on the Khojaly genocide and slogans such as "Justice for the Khojaly!" "We want justice!" and "We want peace!"

10-year-old Lujain Mammadli read a poem written about Khojaly in English.

One of the students living in London, Kamal Aliyev, said that our aim is to demonstrate to the world the heinous massacre committed by Armenian separatists against Azerbaijan.

"Our goal is to return to Khojaly under the leadership of our Commander-in-Chief," he said.

One of the students, Nariman Abbaszade, said that he wants this bloody and unprecedented massacre committed against Azerbaijan to be established with justice and recognized by the rest of the world.
