British ambassador: “PM’s trade envoy’s visit to Azerbaijan was very productive”

“The visit of Baroness Emma Nicholson, Trade Envoy of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom to Azerbaijan was very productive,” said British ambassador to Azerbaijan James Sharp, APA reports.

According to the ambassador, it was the 9th visit of the trade envoy to Azerbaijan.

The diplomat also reminded that Baroness Emma Nicholson held a number of meetings during the visit.

“We hope that as a result of this visit, trade relations between our countries will reach a higher level,” said the ambassador.

The ambassador added that this also includes involving British companies in the activities in the liberated territories from the occupation: “Like British companies, NGOs are closely involved in demining of these territories.”
