Application Procedure
Azerbaijani citizens, as well as foreign nationals and stateless persons, may obtain a Power of Attorney by applying in person at the Embassy.
In addition, citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan may also obtain a Power of Attorney online via the “Mobile Notary” application.
Via the “Mobile Notary” Application
To use the “Mobile Notary” application, applicants must download the app from the Play Market or Apple Store and complete the registration process.
Please note that only certain types of Powers of Attorney can be issued through this mobile application. More detailed information is available via the link.
At the Embassy
To issue a Power of Attorney at the Embassy, the applicant must book an appointment through the electronic appointment portal and appear in person at the Embassy with the required documents.
The Power of Attorney is prepared and issued to the applicant during the appointment on the same day.
The Embassy has various standard Power of Attorney templates available. If a specific wording is required, applicants are kindly requested to submit the prepared text in advance.
Required Documents
- Original and copy of the applicant’s identity card or passport.
If the applicant is a foreign national or stateless person, the original and copy of the passport are required. - Copy of the representative’s (attorney’s) identity card or passport.
If the representative (attorney) is a foreign national or stateless person, a copy of the passport is required. - Additional documents may be required depending on the type of Power of Attorney, for example: for a vehicle-related Power of Attorney – a copy of the relevant vehicle documents; for a real estate-related Power of Attorney – a copy of the relevant property documents; for a lawyer’s Power of Attorney – a copy of the lawyer’s identification card; and other documents, as applicable.
- State fee of GBP 20. Cash payments are not accepted. The fee may be paid by bank card at the time of application.
