Criminal Record Certificate

Application procedure:
Citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as foreigners and stateless persons residing (or who have resided) in the country, may apply to the Embassy in person or by post to obtain a criminal record certificate. The review of the application and issuance of the certificate is generally completed within 15 working days, although in rare cases it may take longer.
If applying in person, the applicant must obtain an appointment through the Electronic Appointment Portal and present the required documents.
If applying by post, the applicant must send the required documents along with a self-addressed and prepaid return envelope (for sending back the issued certificate) to the Embassy’s address. The Embassy bears no responsibility for loss or damage of documents sent by post. Only applications with complete documentation will be accepted for processing.

Required documents:

1. Completed application form;
2. Copy of the passport’s main page;
3. State fee of £10:

  • Cash payments are not accepted; the fee can be paid by bank card at the appointment;
  • If applying by post, a “Postal Order” payable to Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan must be enclosed.
