Application Procedure:
The visa application must be submitted in person (by appointment via appointment.mfa.gov.az) to the Embassy. Please note that the processing time for visa applications is normally up to 10 working days. However, this timeframe is not guaranteed, and some applications may require additional time for review. We strongly recommend submitting your visa application at least one month prior to your intended date of travel.

Application form (must be filled in online, printed out, and signed);

Travel document and copy of its main page (the validity of the travel document must be at least six months longer than the expiration date of the visa);

Two colour photos (3 x 4 cm, white background);

For a tourist visa: a flight itinerary, proof of accommodation (e.g. hotel booking); For business visit, science or education, labor, medical treatment, humanitarian visit, cultural and sports visas: an application of an inviting party (an application made by the legal entity must be certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan); For a private visit visa: notarized invitation and copy of the ID of the receiving party;

Copy of the travel insurance certificate;

Relevant document on availability of funds to cover the trip costs (bank account statements of the last 3 months)

Printed share code for immigration status check for UK residents, with status valid for at least six months. For residents of Ireland and Iceland, a copy of the residence permit valid for at least six months;

Pre-paid and self-addressed envelope (available at post offices), if you wish your passport to be returned by post once the application is processed. The Embassy is not responsible for any loss or damage to documents during postal delivery.

State fee for visa (can be paid at the location using a bank card);

The state fee for a single-entry visa is £18, and a multiple-entry visa is £300;

The Embassy does not accept cash;

The state fee paid for issuing a visa, irrespective of the outcome of processing of the application, shall not be returned;

A notarized copy of the birth certificate, written consent of parents or a legal representative and copies of their identity documents shall be required to apply for visa for foreigners and stateless persons who are under 18 years of age, but possess a passport and do not travel with their parents or legal representatives.
